Simon Evening of Giving is Sunday at Battlefield Mall



Battlefield Mall will host its annual Simon Evening of Giving Sunday, a night of private shopping that benefits worthy area charities.

In the last five years, Simon Evening of Giving generated nearly $100,000 for area charities and the Simon Youth Foundation.

From 6:30pm to 9:00pm, shoppers can enjoy a gala evening of exclusive shopping featuring special discounts and gifts from participating retailers, live music and family entertainment.

Tickets are available in advance at Battlefield Mall Guest Services, through participating charities, or at Battlefield Mall doors on Sunday.

Special discounts offered during Simon Evening of Giving will include 10 percent off every purchase at American Eagle, 15 percent off at Chico?s, 20 percent off regularly priced merchandise at Express, 15 percent off entire purchase at White House Black Market and 20 percent off entire purchase at Yankee Candle.

Other popular stores that are participating include Aeropostale, Ann Taylor LOFT, The Children?s Place, Christopher & Banks, Finish Line, FootLocker, GapKids, Godiva Chocolatier, Gymboree, Hickory Farms, Kirklands, PacSun and Stride Rite.

Prizes will be raffled off to shoppers throughout the evening and holiday photos will also be available for purchase.

Price Cutter is presenting the Wine Garden near the JCPenney East Court. Price Cutter will be featuring the best of the season with wine and cheese sampling and floral services .

Tickets sold outside the mall by participating organizations are $10 per person, $7 of which goes directly to the charity selling the ticket. The remaining $3 of those tickets sold goes to support the Simon Youth Foundation. The mission of the Simon Youth Foundation is to positively impact the lives of today?s youth through two initiatives: Education Resource Centers and scholarship programs.
