Columbia (WLTX) - We now know when and where Oprah Winfrey and Barack Obama will be in Columbia for an upcoming campaign stop.

The Obama campaign says the event will happen December 9 at the Colonial Center on Lincoln Street.

Doors open for the event at 12:30 p.m. that day.

Winfrey has announced her support for Obama's presidency, and has had him as a guest on her show. Obama is from Illinois, her primary state of residence.

Winfrey will also be with him during stops in Iowa and New Hampshire.
